Does the name prove better sleep?

DSIP stands for delta sleep-inducing peptide. A name is not a clinical result.

What was studied?

A 1992 double-blind study included 16 people with chronic insomnia. Researchers compared short-term intravenous DSIP with placebo and assessed sleep measurements and subjective sleep quality.

What did it show?

Some objective measures changed, but effects were weak and partly attributable to an incidental placebo-group change. Subjective sleep quality did not improve. The authors concluded that short-term treatment was not likely to offer major therapeutic benefit.

What does that mean here?

This small, short study does not validate a catalog DSIP product, establish long-term safety or provide personal-use instructions.
